The deluxe double room was huge and had a comfy bed, private bathroom, flat-screen TV, and a kettle for tea and coffee. Breakfast was top-notch, with fresh milk, and we enjoyed a lovely full English served by the friendly Amanda who made us feel right at home. The place had a quirky vibe, and we loved Trudie the dog roaming around. The park across the road was perfect for dog walks.

A tighter parking situation could use improvement!!! Cold room temperatures on arrival weren't exactly inviting!!! Noise from the busy road made for a less-than-peaceful stay!!! Shared bathroom access might deter privacy-seeking guests!!!

I had a great time! The spacious room was perfect for my luggage, and the Smart TV with variety of apps made my evening relaxing. Amanda really went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable.

This little hotel is a gem! The owner is super friendly, and their dog is even friendlier. The location is perfect right across from a park, and parking's a breeze. Really comfy beds and unique decor made it feel special. Plus, breakfast was delish, but the shower pressure could’ve been better.

I loved the luxurious shower experience. The breakfast was a highlight. it met its great reputation with delicious options, homemade jams, and accommodating vegan needs without any hesitation. I enjoyed watching blue tits outside my window each morning—what a lovely view! One downside was the absence of a lock on the bedroom door, which felt a bit uncomfortable. the room could’ve been warmer, as it felt a bit chilly during the night. Parking was somewhat tight after hours, especially when I returned late in the evening. Otherwise, everything else made for a delightful stay.

I had a lovely time here with a fabulous breakfast to start my day and the perfect location right across from a large park which was great for morning strolls. the host was super welcoming and made my stay feel very homely. Single traveler amenities were just right, though I did find the lack of a lock on my bedroom door a bit concerning.
